Our听146th Commencement Ceremony will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 16, 2026,听at the Albany Capital Center, 55 Eagle Street, Albany, New York.

There are eight numbered tickets for all students planning to attend the ceremony. Each graduate requires a ticket for entry. This leaves seven tickets for our graduates to share with family and friends.
All guest entries require a ticket, except children ages 3 and under who will sit on their guardian’s lap. Please ensure your guests receive their tickets before Commencement to facilitate a smooth entry process on May 16. We cannot accommodate lost tickets, and ACPHS reserves the right to refuse entry.
2026 Ticket Policy
- We have created envelopes with eight numbered tickets for all students planning to attend the ceremony. Each graduate requires one of these tickets for entry. This leaves seven tickets to share with family and friends.
- All guest entries require a ticket. Please give your guests their tickets before Commencement to facilitate a smooth entry process on May 16.
- Children ages 3 and under who will sit on their guardian’s lap do not require a ticket.
- We cannot accommodate students who lose tickets, and the College reserves the right to refuse entry.
- Only students who are attending graduation will be issued tickets.
Ticket Pick-Up
- Tickets will be available for pick up in the Student Life Suite (SC 207) on the second floor of the Gozzo Student Center beginning on April 20.

- Each student will be required to sign to receive their tickets.
- All tickets must be picked up no later than Friday, May 15 at 1 pm.鈥疶his should provide ample time for students in residency or off campus to retrieve their tickets. We are unable to share your tickets with friends or classmates or mail them to students.
- If none of these pick-up times are possible, please email OSEL@acphs.edu to coordinate a different time.
Extra Tickets
- If you will not be using all your guest tickets, please email OSEL@acphs.edu and indicate how many tickets you will not be needing by April 15.听 These will then be made available for students who are requesting additional tickets.
- There are a limited number of extra tickets that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to request up to three (3) additional tickets, please send your request by April 15 to .
Each ticket includes a QR code that brings you to the Commencement web page with event details and parking instructions for any last-minute questions or concerns.

Note:听There are several events taking place in downtown Albany on May 16, so we recommend attendees arrive early to avoid traffic and to secure parking.

The Albany Capital Center is currently undergoing an expansion. Please be aware that there may be detours and/or blocked roads downtown. This will not impact your ability to get to the Albany Capital Center or find parking.

Complimentary shuttle service will be available for ACPHS Commencement ceremony guests on Saturday, May 16. Reservations are required.
Please note, shuttles will pick up guests outside the Gozzo Center. These guests can park in Lot C听on campus. There is no fee for parking on campus.
The shuttles will make two trips to the Capital Center: one at 8:15 am and the second at 8:45 am, so please plan your arrival to campus accordingly.
Those who have reserved seats in advance can take shuttle service back to campus following the ceremony, where there will be a festive reception for all graduates, their family and friends, and the campus community. Shuttle pick up from the ceremony will be at the front entrance of the Capital Center.
Space on the shuttle is limited so only those that register in advance will have a secure seat both to and from the ceremony.

The Albany Capital Center is fully ADA compliant.
- ADA access is provided at all parking levels and at the main entrance with an integral ramped entrance to the main lobby at Level 1 and full elevator access to all levels including parking.
- Provisions have been made for the charging of motorized conveyance, restrooms are fully accessible, Braille signage and universal symbols are in use.
- Audio & visual aids are employed throughout the facility to ensure the highest level of service for the convention and meeting attendees.
- Floors surfaces are continuous with minimalized transitions.
The鈥痗eremony will last 2 – 2 陆 hours. There is one scheduled guest speaker, and each graduate walks across the stage to receive their diploma.
Professional photographers will be onsite听during Commencement. Photos will be听shared听on the Commencement webpage听and听via听social media channels.
Note:听Participants and attendees at the 2026听Commencement may be included in images and video footage shared with the campus community and the public.

5:30 鈥 9:30 pm –听Check-in begins at 5 pm in the Student Center听Atrium
Set sail on the beautiful Captain JP cruiser, and enjoy dinner, dessert and dancing听as you watch the sunset on the Hudson! State issued ID required.
$40 for ACPHS students/$50 for guests. One guest per ACPHS student.
Ticket includes听meal. There will be a cash bar at this event.听All attendees are required to take the College transportation. Buses leave campus at 5:30 pm and departs from听Captain JP at 9:30 pm.

Join us at 糖心vlog alumni-owned Active Ingredient Brewing Company for food and听drinks! State issued ID required. This event is 21+. $30 for ACPHS Students. No guests are allowed. Ticket includes two free drink tickets听and food.
All attendees are required to take the College transportation. Buses leave the Student Center at 1:15 p.m and depart from Active Brewing Company at 5 pm.

5:30 鈥 9:30 pm: Normanside Country Club, 150 Salisbury Road, Delmar, NY
Join faculty, staff, administration and your peers to celebrate the听accomplishments of the graduating class at Normanside Country Club! This event is for graduates only and free, but registration is required.
All attendees are required to take the College transportation.听Buses leave the Student Center at 5 pm.

Join your class as we celebrate your time at 糖心vlog. Includes a commemorative champagne glass for you to take home and everyone attending will be entered into a raffle to win an ACPHS diploma frame. State issued ID required.

Students have the option of signing up and paying on EventBrite OR an in-person/mail option.听 Choosing to pay through mail/in-person avoids the EventBrite fees. The absolute deadline for registration and payment is Thursday, May 7th.听

On-campus housing is available beginning on Monday, May 11, 2026. Housing Signups are due by Wednesday, April 29th.听Details on housing, including the link to sign up your roommate group, can be found in the 鈥淕raduation Week Housing 2026鈥 attachment sent to you via email from OSEL. For questions regarding Graduation Celebration Days Housing, please contact Alison.Buckley@acphs.edu.

- The cost is $50 per person for the week
- Students must also give a separate $100 security deposit check, which will be shredded upon check-out, provided that the room key and fob is returned, and there is no damage to the room which you were assigned.
Students already living in Holland/Princeton Suites do not need to move and pay for South Hall for the week. You should follow the instructions in the end of semester closing email to request to stay in your room until Graduation.
You can sign up for housing through the same ways as the activities 鈥 EventBrite or Mail/In-Person.听 The $100 deposit check must be kept separate from your activities/payment check if paying in person!听 Housing Signups are due by Wednesday, April 29th.听

Graduates at a Glance
The ceremony will honor undergraduate, graduate, dual-degree听and PhD candidates coming from towns and cities throughout New York state as well as:
Commencement Speaker
David M. Stack 鈥76
Mr. Stack retired in January 2024 from Pacira Biosciences. For 17 years, he served as chairman and CEO building the organization into a fully integrated acute care company with a non-opioid pain portfolio responsible for treating more than 17 million patients in the United States.
Prior to leading Pacira, he served in a number of leadership positions in the biotech industry including as managing director of MPM Capital; managing partner of Stack Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; and president and CEO of The Medicines Company. He was also named president and general manager at Innovex, Inc.; vice president, Business Development/Marketing at Immunomedics; and he held various positions including therapeutic world leader for infectious disease, virology and oncology at Hoffmann La Roche.
Following his graduation from 糖心vlog in 1976, he started his career as a pharmacist at St. Mary鈥檚 Hospital.
Graciously sharing his business acumen and expertise, Mr. Stackhas supported more than a dozen private and public company boards, including the ACPHS Board of Trustees, and was the chairman of Chiasma until its sale in 2021.
He was the founding donor for the College鈥檚 Stack Family Center for Biopharmaceutical Education and Training (CBET), which is committed to bridging academia and industry together on biopharmaceutical education and innovation. He also developed the听Stack Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Siena University and was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2003, New Jersey-Healthcare.
He听holds a BS in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy, a BS in Biology from Siena College, and a Doctorate of Humane Letters from ACPHS.
