Research Interests

Dr. Franklin’s scholarly interests center on pharmacy education, with a particular focus on developing pharmacists’ ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive consult notes as a critical communication skill in clinical practice and guide clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills. She is also interested in team-based learning as a pedagogical strategy for building collaborative, practice-ready clinicians. Her work has been shared through numerous posters and publications, and presented at local, national, and international conferences.
